UNH Seacoast Day

We learned all about the New Hampshire seacoast with volunteer docents and scientists from UNH. I liked this chart:

This creature is apparently from the sub-tidal zone:

There was also an opportunity for Fine Art - people would paint a dead fish and then press it onto paper.

We also got to go on several of the UNH research vessels. Unfortunately, they were all tied up to the dock and no one offered to let us go on a research expedition or joyride. Oh well. These controls were pretty cool:
