Weeping Cherries, Pink and White

Prospect Park, benches in the flood

At the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the weeping cherry was a little fuller, and white-blossomed trees had joined the pink ones.

Pink foregrounded, white just beyond

The loose white blossoms made me think of popcorn

Tulips in the desert garden area

Early tulips

Magnolias like stars on trees

As I came around the corner toward the Hill-and-Pond Garden, the afternoon sun lit up the cherry trees; they basked and glowed.

Ducks and the reflected glory of spring blooms

The Brooklyn Museum's white trees float distantly like cotton above the fountain.
