All the lanterns in the lobby are held up by tentacled sea creatures!

We walked back to the hotel, with a long stop at the Crown Fountain in Millenium Park:

LED video portraits, with intermittent spitting.

Of course, we posed endlessly at the Bean.  As B noted, it brings out the inner narcissist in all of us.  Who doesn't want to pose for distorted self-portraits?  (In any event, this turned out to be good preparation for the "circus" area at the Museum of Science and Industry....)
