Well, it's that time of year again. Time to take down the Halloween decorations (beaded "spiderweb" candle holder, felt bats, orange greeting cards) and put up the Christmas decorations. So, this year, I put up a Christmas tree - which I haven't done in a few years since I always celebrate Christmas in New England.
Modesty forbids me from stating exactly how imposing this tree really is. In the photo below, however, it's shown with one of those Easter Island figures, so you can get a sense of the scale:
