Though the houses were pretty, it was a hot day, which utterly sapped the girls' energy. Until we stumbled on this wonderful fountain.

We saw a lot of (presumably stray) cats wandering around town. They were very cute, but a little shy. I thought this kitten was adorable. |

Alas, all good things must come to an end, as they say. We had some smoothies and poked around a bit, then returned to the ship.

Back on board, some of us went on a kitchen tour. There were some long speeches (boo!), but finally we got to go into the galley (yay!). Luckily, we saw nothing that required us to survive on prepackaged crackers for the rest of the trip. That's always a risk with this sort of thing, I suppose.
